Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients

1/3 C butter
2 C heavy cream
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp nutmeg
~1/3 C freshly grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add 2 cloves minced garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in nutmeg and garlic powder to taste. Add non-enriched white flour if necessary to thicken sauce.
